• BCom Degree or BTech in Financial Accounting / Internal Auditing
• CIMA qualification (advantageous)
• Strong IT knowledge

? Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accountant
• Manufacturing environment experience
• JDE experience (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail

? Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post standard journals for monthly management accounts
• Prepare and reconcile VAT returns and confirm inter-company balances
• Fixed cost and transport analysis for the General Manager
• Prepare tax packs and upload on One Source
• Upload financial statements on Hyperion / SMART
• Reconcile all ledger accounts using MS Excel by the 10th working day
• Complete Stats SA manufacturing questionnaire
• Prepare monthly petty cash file for the Financial Manager
• Upload budgets and forecasts on Hyperion and prepare statutory notes
• Perform ad hoc finance duties as required
