About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CO2 Welder to join our team in the Eastern Cape region. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing welding activities in a safe and efficient manner, working with a variety of materials and tools to produce high-quality welds according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and tools
Perform CO2 welding on a variety of metals
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
Properly clean and maintain welding equipment
Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times
Communicate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a CO2 Welder
Certification in CO2 welding preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical strength and stamina to perform welding activities for extended periods
