About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Clerk to join our team at Staff Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing supplier accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience working with accounting systems, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned supplier (creditor) accounts
- Communicate with suppliers about invoices and account queries
- Capture and process supplier invoices and purchase orders on Pastel and Syspro
- Match invoices to GRNs (Goods Received Notes) where needed
- Prepare clearing agent invoice packs according to procedures
- Gather and check all supporting documents
- Prepare account reconciliations on time
- Investigate and resolve claims and account queries
- Prepare weekly age analysis reports
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working with local and foreign suppliers
- Experience capturing invoices on an accounting system
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Pastel and Syspro
- Experience resolving supplier claims
Qualifications
- A qualification in Accounting or Finance is an advantage
