SENIOR LECTURER: ANTHROPOLOGY KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Contribute to faculty academic department learning & research. Financial Planning & Budgeting. Organisational Unit Staff Management. Teaching execution. Post Graduate Research Supervision. Research Execution. Teaching & Learning Integrated Community Engagement. International Academic & Research Program Collaboration. Academic Programme Coordination. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A relevant Doctoral Degree. At least 3 years experience in higher education. Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research experience in the area of Anthropology. A record of accredited research publications commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer. Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Masters/Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer. ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES: Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning. Evidence of successful external fundraising for research. Evidence of supporting early career academics. Recognition in a chosen area of research (e.g., NRF rating). Evidence of networking and collaboration beyond one institution in research and/or teaching.
