Job Description

Duties: Assess the condition of vehicles involved in accidents or incidents Inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs required Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Audatex, Vantage, etc.). Collaborate with the repair team to ensure proper understanding of the required repairs. Communicate with customers, insurance companies, and repair shops to discuss estimates, repair schedules, and insurance claims. Ensure estimates are compliant with current legislation and insurance requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of motor vehicle repair costs and practices. Provide exceptional customer service, answering queries and addressing concerns as they arise. Requirements: Grade 12 Relevant qualifications would be a big plus Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Estimator, ideally within a body shop or insurance environment Valid drivers license (non-negotiable) In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes, parts, and industry standards Strong experience with estimating software such as: Audatex Vantage, etc Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) Ability to work under pressure and multitask Strong attention to detail and accuracy Contactable references
