About the Role

Asande Projects is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist with 5 years post registration to join our team based at Kusile Power Station in Mpumalanga for a period of 10 months. We are looking for an experienced professional to support our power generation operations and contribute to the success of our project.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather geotechnical data
• Analyze and interpret geotechnical reports and data
• Develop and implement geotechnical solutions for various construction projects
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist after registration
• Proven track record in conducting site investigations and surveys
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientists (SACNASP) as a Professional Engineer (PrEng)
