Job Summary
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining the optimal technical condition of an extensive and technologically advanced machine park by performing preventive and corrective maintenance and optimizations on their complex production lines.
- Be the first point of contact and responsible for the overall technical condition of the production lines and building-related installations (water treatment systems to electric generators and high-pressure installations).
- Work closely with the Technical Coordinator and the Technical Department.
- Oversee contractors and suppliers during preventative maintenance, modifications, and repair work.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations in all your tasks.
- Identify and report unsafe situations and deviations.
- Be willing to be available outside of office hours for advice, analysis, and on-call duty.
Required knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC controls, and are familiar with NEN 3140.
- Experience working in a production environment.
- You communicate well and have a good command of the Dutch/Afrikaans language.
- You have completed a Trade Test or Technical Degree
- You are willing to work in a 2-shift system (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
