Job Summary
- 5 + years of experience as a technician, preferably with Renault or other European vehicle brands
- Renault master technician certification or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of Renault vehicles including electrical, mechanical and technical systems
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues and managers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent, post secondary education in a related field preferred
Key responsibility
- Diagnose and repair complex faults on Renault vehicles, including electrical, mechanical and technical issues
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify root causes of problems
- Develop and implement repair plans including estimating costs and obtaining customer approval
- Mentor and support other technicians sharing knowledge and expertise to improve team performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Renault technologies and repair methods attending training and development programs as required
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work including repair orders and customer communication
- Collaborate with other departments including sales and service to ensure seamless customer experiences
