About the Role
Set high on the hills overlooking the Franschhoek Valley, this award-winning restaurant offers a unique culinary and wine adventure and absolute exclusivity in every respect. Serving only 48 guests, this fine dining restaurant focuses on modern international cuisines fused with locally farmed South Africa ingredients, fresh produce, and intricately plated set menus with or without wine pairing. ProStaffSelect are in search of a skilled, highly organized professional ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER to oversee daily operations with a team of passionate service-minded individuals in creating a “best of its kind” experience for another award-winning year.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations
- Oversee food and beverage preparation
- Supervise staff and ensure excellent customer service
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
- Coordinate with wine suppliers to promote signature SA wines
Requirements
- Min 4 years experience within a la carte fine dining restaurants
- Good exposure and confidence in promoting & serving signature SA wines
- Excellent CULINARY knowledge and all-round understanding of food, ingredients & plating components
- Highly Presentable candidate with strong personality, confidence, and commanding presence
Qualifications
- Formal education in hospitality or related field (if applicable)
