Luxury Wellness Retreat & Hotel close to Franschhoek is looking for a Housekeeper. We’re seeking grounded and attentive housekeeping steward to care for spaces with quiet pride , ensuring each room and common area feels fresh, welcoming and thoughtfully maintained. Duties: Clean and reset guest rooms and shared spaces with consistency, care and attention to detail Support daily rhythms by managing laundry, replenishing supplies and responding to guest needs Work closely with fellow stewards, hosts and other teams to keep the guest experience smooth and connected Take initiative to notice what’s needed, whether it’s a quick tidy or a deeper refresh Embrace seasonal shifts and a spirit of learning, growth and teamwork in an attentive environment Requirements: Grade 12 Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or similar Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and methods Excellent time keeping Ability to follow SOP standards Attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Impeccable grooming standards Personal and professional integrity Good communication skills in English High level of physical endurance Ability to work shifts
