Junior Restaurant Manager – Luxury Fine Dining Restaurant | Franschhoek Location: Franschhoek, Western Cape Role Type: Full-time Package: Negotiable depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and hands-on Junior Restaurant Manager to join an exciting new luxury fine dining restaurant in the heart of Franschhoek. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for service excellence and team leadership , ready to contribute to the launch and ongoing success of a high-end dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Operations Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations including front-of-house, reservations, and guest relations Supervise and motivate staff to ensure exceptional service delivery Support training and development of the team, maintaining high standards across all service areas Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house operations Guest Experience & Service Excellence Provide a warm, professional, and personalised experience to all guests Handle special requests, guest feedback, and ensure satisfaction at all times Monitor and maintain luxury service standards aligned with the restaurant’s brand Administration & Financial Oversight Assist with daily financial reporting, cash-ups, and revenue monitoring Support inventory control, stock management, and supplier relations Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations Launch Support Contribute to the successful opening and ongoing operations of the restaurant Collaborate with the management team to implement SOPs, service protocols, and guest experience standards Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within fine dining or luxury hospitality Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and wine pairing/service Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Passion for luxury service, guest experience, and team development Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required What Is On Offer: Competitive, negotiable salary depending on experience Opportunity to be part of a new, high-end luxury dining concept Exposure to luxury service standards, fine dining operations, and professional growth Collaborative and supportive front-of-house team environment
