Requirements · Minimum 2-5 years previous Sous chef experience in a similar upmarket Restaurant/Wine Estate setting · Professional Culinary and Hygiene qualifications · Farm to table concept experience very beneficial · Computer literate (Word, Excel, Micros) · Excellent and productive support to the Head Chef, able to lead the team · Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure · Extremely hands on- ensures preparation of food and equipment is on time and up to standard, well prepared for service, running service from the front line, ensuring every plate is up to standard · Ability to co-ordinate the kitchen team to produce menus and food items with attention to detail, and high standards of presentation · Great team player who communicates effectively in the kitchen with fellow employees for a positive and professional atmosphere · Exceptional understanding of culinary trends (wine knowledge beneficial) · Knowledgeable of all dietary requirements · Exceptionally guest oriented- strives for guest satisfaction · Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control- Follows and Implements wastage and variance control procedures- profit focused · Good knowledge of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration · Must be energetic and upbeat, professional and ambitious Package on offer · Salary NEG D.O.E · Live out Starting Date: Asap
