About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Winding Engine Driver to join a well-established mine based in Free State, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the winding engine equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in underground operations and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the winding engine equipment
- Monitor and control the movement of vehicles and personnel within the mine
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift checks on equipment
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- DMR Winding Engine Drivers certificate of competency
- Onsetters certificate
- Alternative current (AC) certificate
- Direct current (DC) certificate
- Limited scope certificate
- Valid Code EB (08) Drivers license
Qualifications
