Registered Nurse – Icu Experienced (Plettenberg Bay)

Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, providing necessary interventions and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in critical care nursing
- Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
- Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety
- Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
- Create a learning environment that builds staff competence
- Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Diploma in General Nursing / B Cur Degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification.
- At least 2 years experience in ICU
- Registration with the South African Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
- 2 years of experience in a private hospital setting
- Flexible in working hours/Shifts
