- Matric
- Bookkeeping qualification
- Diploma in accounting will be advantageous
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Excel
- Translate financial information onto graphs and other reporting tools
- Knowledge of an ERP system is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly reports as required by Line Manager
- Prepare monthly financial information for EXCO packs
- Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet recons, to be reviewed Line Manager
- Assist with forecast cash flows & budget information
- Maintain fixed asset registers of allocated entities
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc payments
- Assist with financial information for all reports
- Assist with debt collection process
- Assist Line Manager with annual external audit
- Assist with other financial functions as and when required
- Review cashbook entries and allocations
- Maintain fixed assets register (Syspro and Excel)
- Assist with the preparation of cash flows
- Assist with annual/year-end and internal audits and assist with compiling audit packs
- Assist Financial Manager with preparation of final yearly budgets
- Maintain the WIP and GRN suspense accounts to aid creditors reporting
- Assist Financial Manager in preparing tax calculations and submissions & ensure compliance with local and international regulations
- Prepare monthly reports (fixed asset, cash flows and net cash reports)
- Assist with sales forecast reports for the month
- Assist with EXCO packs preparation
- Compile branch accounts for branches
- Maintain IFRS16 schedules and raise journals for buildings and Ricoh
- Prepare salary journals for the month
- Maintain income received in advance schedules
