• Matric Certificate.
• Relevant Diploma/ Certificate Bookkeeping/ Finance or other.
• +-10 years’ working experience in Senior Bookkeeping.
• Proven experience with SAGE Evolution Accounting Package.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Tenacity, flexibility and ability to meet strict and tight deadlines essential.
• Experience working within a – Multinational and Intercompany Transactions- an advantage.
• Foreign Exchange and Rate of Exchange transactions – an advantage.
• First Language – English.
• Must have own transport.

 
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Maintain complete and accurate financial records up to Balance Sheet.
• General ledger and lead sheet maintenance.
• Account Receivables & Customer ledger processing and reconciliations.
• Account Payables & Supplier ledger processing and reconciliations.
• Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations. Foreign Exchange Transactions.
• Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations.
• Process monthly journals and adjustments.
• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals and reconciliations.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory control systems and processes (experience in a company having Inventory holding – an advantage).
• Customer Liaison for spares orders.
• Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation and distribution.
• Plan and oversee stock takes

Other:

• Visa and travel planning and control.
• Back-Office support and ad hoc administrative duties.
• General Office orders – refreshments, canteen and stationery.
