Job Summary
Roles and Functions include, but are not limited to:
Developing and enhancing the brand vision and long-term strategy, ensuring alignment across all key stakeholders. This involves collaborating with senior leaders in sales and marketing to define and execute the brand`s go-to-market plan. Designing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy to increase engagement, build credibility and trust, and consistently reinforce a positive brand message across all channels. This includes leading the marketing and communication plans for strategic brand pillars like special operations, aftersales, partnerships, and motor events. Tracking and evaluating brand and marketing KPIs nationally to drive continuous brand growth and demonstrate the ROI of all initiatives and investments. This requires strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills. Serving as a key brand ambassador, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders behind the company`s vision and mission. This role requires a natural leadership ability, a drive for outstanding results, and a flexible, adaptable approach.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the brand and products
- Lead a team of marketing professionals to execute campaigns across various channels
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with product development and sales teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI and achieve targets
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including advertising, promotions, and PR activities
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, agencies, and industry influencers
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing
- Media spokes-person for the company. Manage media engagement and product launches
Requirements:
- 3-5 year’s experience in same or similar role Head of Marketing, Brand, PR in the Automotive industry
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in marketing leadership roles within the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of South African market dynamics and consumer preferences
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a track record of successful marketing campaigns
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
