Business Analyst
Location: Waterfall, Johannesburg (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to serve as the crucial link between business objectives and technology capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, defining functional requirements, and supporting technology teams to deliver effective business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate discussions and interviews with stakeholders to develop detailed business requirement specifications.
- Manage and track tickets, ensuring timely follow-up with business users and developers.
- Document existing and new business processes to support continuous improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive functional and technical specification documentation.
- Act as the primary liaison between business representatives and technical teams.
- Conduct workshops or JAD sessions to gather and refine requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize project deliverables and manage expectations.
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
- Support business owners with the transition of new processes and applications, including training and user support.
- Identify and implement incremental process improvements.
- Ensure effective communication with management, users, and developers throughout project lifecycles.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom), Science (BSc), or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Knowledge of wealth management and adviser value propositions will be advantageous.
