About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Officer in the logistics field to join Vukani Air Logistics (Pty) Ltd. With proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and contract management, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with airlines, freight forwarders, corporate clients, and travel agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with airlines, freight forwarders, corporate clients, and travel agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: operators, lessors, handling agents, and airport authorities.
- Develop go-to-market strategies tailored for customers in passenger charters, cargo charters, ACMI leasing.
- Negotiate and execute contracts, ensuring profitable and compliant agreements.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to support strategic expansion.
- Collaborate closely with existing customers on developing additional potential business opportunities.
- Represent the company at aviation trade fairs, conferences, and networking events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and contract management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify strategic opportunities and make informed decisions.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a track record of success in achieving targets.
- Fluency in English, Russian, and Polish languages.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in finance would be greatly advantageous.
