Requirements:
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse, registered with the South African Nursing Council.
- Experience: 1-2 years in medical aid or managed healthcare preferred; experience in disease management is advantageous.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of chronic disease treatments, clinical protocols, case management, and prescribed minimum benefit guidelines.
- Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), report writing, time management, problem-solving, and computer literacy.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and distribute educational materials for patients.
- Continuously enhance Disease Management Programmes.
- Conduct retrospective reviews of related claims.
- Develop and maintain clinical protocols, including new drug assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the organization.
- Liaise with pharmaceutical companies.
- Compile monthly reports on program progress and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage all related hospital admissions.
- Stay updated on benefit changes.
- Deliver educational presentations to employer groups.
- Assist with interdepartmental queries and perform ad hoc duties.
