The CFO will lead the financial function, driving strategy, compliance, and operational efficiency while managing a high-performing team. They will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and working capital, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Acting as a fiduciary director, the CFO will provide strategic advice to the Board and CEO, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and enhance financial systems and processes to support the company’s goals.

Duties:
- Lead and manage the Group’s financial team.
- Oversee the financial function, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.
- Devise and implement financial strategies, goals, and targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Enhance financial systems, processes, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal financial obligations.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, year-end financials, audits, budgets, tax submissions, and risk reports.
- Drive tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, ETI, learnership allowances, and corporate tax.
- Act as a fiduciary on the Board, providing strategic advice and support to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Manage working capital and oversee financial forecasting and budgeting.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric ( Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA) / CIMA or MBA
Experience:
- Completed Articles
- 5 – 8 years with financial Management experience in a operational / strategic role
- Leadership experience is a must
- Relevant expose in a seniority role.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, or output-based industries (advantageous).
Skills & Competencies:
- Extensive experience in all facets of financial management.
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems.
- Expertise in tax management and company restructuring (advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of BBBEE codes of good practice.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and administrative skills.
