Position: Dispatch Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Release deliveries as per allocated picking dates on SAP.
• Ensure sufficient work for pickers.
• Allocate dispatch lanes correctly.
• Monitor picker performance and ensure average of 30 picks per hour.
• Assist Customer Services/Customers with special requests.
• Monitor daily operational reports and take corrective action.
• Ensure all consignments are dispatched timely.
• Monitor Trade Counter activity and assist with workload/documentation.
• Monitor environment for safety and take corrective action.
• Ensure high standard of housekeeping.
• Conduct daily staff meetings.

Job Requirements & Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• English Language proficiency.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Able to help customers efficiently.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain discipline.

Education:
Minimum/Essential: Grade 12
Desirable: Computer Literacy

Experience:
