Bachelors degree in electrical/mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent). 7 years experience Professional Registration HIGHLY advantageous Demonstrated experience in network modelling and analysis using DIgSILENT PowerFactory (or comparable software like PSS/E or ETAP). Comprehensive knowledge of performing modelling, simulations, and calculations to specify protection settings (LV to HV) for renewable power plants. Experience with synchronous generators, industrial/mining operations, or complex transmission/distribution grids is highly valued A thorough understanding of the South African transmission and distribution systems, the South African Grid Code, and current industry trends.
