Job & Role Overview:
As an Engineering Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening key client relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and ongoing partnerships. You’ll coordinate internally with technical, delivery, finance, and project teams to ensure client requirements are met, while proactively handling contract renewals, preventing churn, and identifying opportunities for growth.
Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
– Matric / Grade 12 – Essential
– Relevant Diploma or Degree in Business, Commerce, or Engineering – Essential
Experience:
– 5+ years in account management, client services or key account retention – Essential
– Proven success in contract renewals, client satisfaction, and commercial negotiation – Essential
– Experience in modular engineering, project lifecycle, or process equipment – Advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
– Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients
– Oversee contract renewals and retention strategies
– Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and service excellence
– Identify upsell, cross-sell, and value-adding opportunities
– Monitor client satisfaction, renewal cycles, and service performance metrics
– Resolve client issues promptly and professionally
– Ensure accurate CRM reporting and documentation
