Job Summary

The Helpdesk Support Technician will be responsible for the timely and effective response to IT user queries and problems through the receipt and logging of problems and the co-ordination of rapid and appropriate responses for basic problem resolution for new and existing systems.

Requirements:


– Matric
– Degree or diploma in computer science
– Microsoft Certifications – Windows Desktop, Office 365/Microsoft 365
– ITIL & A+/N+

Daily Responsibilities include:
– Provide 1st line support
– Support call logging & updating
– Desktop and peripheral support
– User support
– Network support
– Remote and telephonic support
– Ensuring all incoming Helpdesk calls are answered within SLA
– Resolving calls within SLA
– Appropriate & timeous call escalation
– Identify repeat problems with associated action plans
– Software and hardware installations
