Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure.
- Monitor network security and conduct regular system tests.
- Develop tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate routine tasks.
- Respond quickly to security incidents and establish response protocols.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy technical controls and maintain secure configurations.
- Train staff on security best practices and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, GSEC, or similar.
- Strong IT background with experience in Linux and/or network administration.
- Proficiency with firewalls, proxies, SIEM, IDPS, and vulnerability management tools like Greenbone, Nessus, and Intune.
- Hands-on knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, SQL, Ruby, Go).
- Experience in network penetration testing and identifying vulnerabilities.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to educate and communicate security practices to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of security trends and risk management strategies.
