Job Summary
IT Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
- Research and integrate technological solutions to improve business performance.
- Conduct system audits and support end-user technology initiatives.
IT Operations & Process Management
- Enhance IT processes and response times to support efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure continuous support and adherence to company policies and turnaround times.
- Manage vendor contracts and service agreements.
Network Infrastructure & Security
- Design, maintain and secure the company’s network and voice/data systems.
- Ensure high availability and performance of the IT environment.
- Oversee all IT projects and safeguard network confidentiality and integrity.
Hardware & Software Support
- Manage hardware and software systems including desktops, laptops, servers, and printers (~200 users).
- Provide remote support to branches and maintain effective patch and print management.
- Administer Symantec, Cisco hardware, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Preventative & Compliance Measures
- Monitor antivirus, backup systems, and server health.
- Collaborate with global support for email and encryption systems.
- Process IT-related invoices and manage stock/inventory of devices and equipment.
Asset & Cost Management
- Perform asset tagging and bi-annual audits.
- Process IT hardware/software requests with cost-effectiveness in mind.
- Ensure timely invoice payments.
Key Projects
- Cloud PC migration
- Outlook 365 rollout
- SAP ERP implementation
- Network infrastructure upgrades
Compliance & Security Reporting
- Maintain and update global security protocols and documentation in line with HQ requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure, and network management
- Strong technical understanding of Windows OS, networking (Cisco), Microsoft 365, and security systems
- Certifications: A+, N+, MCSE/MCITP (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, reporting, and project management abilities
