Job Summary
Qualifications & Experience:
– 1-2 years of experience in technical support, preferably within the industrial automation industry.
– National Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field).
– Basic knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA development.
– Familiarity with networking fundamentals and wireless networking is a plus.
– Understanding of PoE-based solutions like IP Cameras and IP Phones is beneficial.
Desired Attributes:
– South African citizen with a valid ID and driver`s license.
– Strong interest in learning and developing technical skills in industrial automation.
– Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
– Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
– Willingness to occasionally travel for work-related activities.
