Job Description
- 3+ Years’ proven experience as a Logistics Assistant.
- Valid South African Passport.
- Excellent employment references.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration or related field.
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Logistics Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Assist with inventory control, stock management, and warehouse documentation.
- Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork).
- Communicate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to arrange deliveries and resolve issues.
- Monitor and update logistics databases and systems with accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Ensure compliance with import/ export regulations and company policies.
- Handle administrative duties related to logistics such as filling, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations, including order processing and transporting planning.
- Identify and report delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods.
- Assist in cost control and budgeting related to transportation and logistics services.
