Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up machines to ensure required quality standards of products
• Monitor machine speed and state for maximum efficiency
• Identify and address machinery issues promptly
• Able to report any deviations from quality and food safety standards to production QA and Engineering management 
• Able to adhere to ISO 14000, 18000 and 22000 standards in terms of production and machinery operation
• Report unsafe conditions and acts to management 
• Start up and shut down machines in a safe manner as required by standard operation procedures machinery to ensure mechanically  and functionally sound
• Able to conduct  basic faults finding on machinery 
• Ensure the workstation is clean , neat and remove components that require cleaning , lubricant and inspection 
• Clean the machine in line with operating guidelines and food safety requirements
• Able to isolate machine and remove breakdown

Qualifications:

Sectors: FMCG
Functions: Retail, Wholesale, Supply Chain Dispatching & Receiving, Food & Beverage

• Grade 12
• N3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering advantageous
• 2 years experience in FMCG or mechanical environment
• Complete the checklist and records for traceability for tasks and audit purposes
• Conduct regular safety  inspection on machinery in line with the Occupational Health and Safety
• One Month Contract
