• BTech Mechanical Engineer
• BEng Mechanical Engineer
• Degree / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related studies
• Post-Graduate qualification in relevant field will be advantageous

Job Requirements

• ERP system experience – JD Edwards will be advantageous
• 3 + Years’ experience in production environment
• Proven ability to lead technical / workshop team
• Electrical and hydraulic expertise
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Your key responsibilities will be:

• To develop and implement annual planned maintenance schedule
• To collect and analyse service information to plan wear part and major maintenance
• To stay informed about industry trends and best practices in maintenance management
• To develop a work standard to measure technician’s performance by.
• To develop a skills matrix for technicians at all levels.
• Ensure a basic equipment standard is in place.
• Ensure technicians understand the standards and relevance to the system.
• Develop basic material supply chain ensuring quality of materials and financial competitivity of suppliers.
• Develop minimum stock and re-order points considering planned maintenance needs.
• Ensure all relative drawings for parts per machine type are available for technicians and supply chain.
• Monitor actual hours vs. planned hours per job.
• Customer satisfaction feedback.
