The Mining & Construction Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business and managing sales activities across Southern Africa, with a strong focus on mining, construction, heavy equipment machinery, and tractor parts. Core Responsibilities Actively identify, prospect, and develop new clients within the mining and construction sectors Target: Mining companies Construction companies Contractors Heavy equipment and machinery users Parts buyers and fleet operators Conduct outbound sales activities, including: Phone calls Emails Follow-ups Relationship-building communications Perform in-person client visits to mines, construction sites, and industrial facilities when opportunities are commercially mature Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, starting with smaller transactions and growing into larger recurring orders Serve as the local commercial representative for Intersupply, Corp. in the assigned territory Coordinate closely with the Miami (USA) team to: Request quotations Deliver offers to clients Follow up on quotations, invoices, and deal progression Maintain regular follow-up with prospects until deals are closed Develop long-term client relationships to generate repeat and ongoing business Provide basic market feedback on: Client needs Competitor activity Market opportunities Important Role Clarifications This is a sales-focused, results-driven role This position does NOT include: Purchasing or sourcing Supplier negotiations Handling client payments Collections or banking Logistics or shipping coordination All transactions are cash in advance and managed by Intersupply, Corp.
