Introduction

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the fasteners sector, is urgently seeking three (3) Mid to Senior .NET Developers to join their in-house development team. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who enjoy both new feature development and supporting/modernising legacy systems within a technically challenging environment.

About the Role

You will be contributing to the development and enhancement of a wide range of systems, including Windows desktop applications (WinForms), APIs, background services, reporting, and internal web applications. The environment follows SCRUM, and you will work closely with other developers, a support officer, a reporting specialist, and business stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working across a broad technology stack and enjoys understanding domain logic and business rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications and background services
• Contribute to web and API development where needed
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and other SCRUM ceremonies
• Analyse, understand, and implement business rules and domain logic
• Provide mentorship to junior developers
• Support and modernise legacy systems
• Provide operational and business support to internal stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in .NET development
• Strong proficiency in C#, VB.NET, and T-SQL
• Comfortable working with legacy systems and large, complex codebases
• Solid problem-solving ability and strong communication skills
• Experience working in a SCRUM / Agile environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (B.Sc. IT preferred)
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup (onsite Tuesdays & Fridays)

Nice to Have

• Experience in manufacturing, ERP (especially SYSPRO), stock, sales, or distribution systems
• Exposure to Azure DevOps or reporting tools

Team Structure

You will join a close-knit development team made up of:

• 5 Developers
• 1 Support Officer
• 1 Data/Reporting Specialist

There will be opportunities to mentor a junior developer and to be deeply involved in all stages of the software lifecycle.
