- Degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, or Accounting (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of Payspace payroll software
- Excellent Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation and statutory submissions
Job description:
- Process weekly wages for approximately 150 staff and monthly salaries across four companies
- Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions
- Manage electronic timekeeping systems and review timesheets
- Download wage and monthly payroll reports
- Handle Provident Fund reconciliations and payments
- Process Sanlam Group Life GRNs and payments
- Load garnishees on banking platforms and confirm payments
- Submit PAYE returns and load POPs
- Prepare Excel sales reports (Actual vs Budget) and distribute to Managers
- Calculate sales commissions and communicate to Sales staff
- Submit SSC returns and POPs for Namibia (Stier Vente)
- Complete VET Levy returns (NTA – Namibia)
- Submit ITAS PAYE returns and upload payments (Botswana)
- Receive, verify, and process branch incentives
- Load new employees and process terminations
- Manage Sanlam onboarding and offboarding of staff
- Prepare and process salary payments
- Send salary breakdowns to Debtors once payroll is completed
- Weekly wage processing every Wednesday including clockings, overtime confirmations, and incentive loading
