About the Role

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their client’s team in Springbok, Northern Cape. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, engineering, and construction.
  • Client interaction on projects as well as business development.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that all members are working towards common project goals.
  • Management of contracts on building and engineering projects.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the consulting engineering industry (at least 8 years).
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with clients and managing client relationships.
