Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, cost, implement, and lead customer projects according to Order Management standards, procedures, and processes.
• Ensure accurate Order Management operations for assigned organizations, plants, or sites.
• Perform short-term and mid-term production plans, costing, estimating, and scheduling of materials, resources, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
• Manage order status, planning, and forecasts for logistics, production, and deliveries.
• Initiate, maintain, and improve systems to measure order operations performance and effectiveness.
• Analyse order plans and critical timelines to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors to prevent delays and meet customer requirements.
• Ensure on-time delivery and cost control and manage customer communication and progress updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification.
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years relevant work experience in heavy engineering.
• Exposure to CNC machines, conventional lathes, and milling machines.
• Experience with Turbines, compressors, and manufacturing.
• Proven track record of driving efficiency and machinery utilization.
• Advanced practical and theoretical understanding in manufacturing.
