Job Summary
Job Overview:The Restaurant Floor Manager will lead our team and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.Key duties include, but not limited to:- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service- Monitor and maintain restaurant standards for food quality, cleanliness, and ambiance- Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability and enhance customer satisfaction- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner- Create staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively- Responsible for stock control, including counts, ordering, production & variancereports- Responsible for stock purchasing, managing stock budget, and flow and working according to the budget- Oversee product orders, ensure timely deliveries, and manage supplier relationshipsThe ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development. A proven track record in restaurant or hospitality management.Qualifications:- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management is a plus- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager- Numeracy Proficiency- Computer Literate- Financial Acumen
Requirements:
– Able to work retail store hours: weekends, evenings, holidays etc- Excel proficient- Clear Criminal Record- Contactable references
Salary:
15k – 20k per month
