Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for agricultural products to support business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to align purchasing with customer demands.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze procurement data and generate reports to support decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the retail agriculture sector.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
• Understanding of agricultural products, market trends, and seasonal purchasing cycles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
