Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division, including Front Desk, and Housekeeping.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the rooms division team to ensure consistent delivery of 5-star guest service.
- Assist in managing guest check-ins/check-outs, room assignments, and resolving guest inquiries or issues promptly.
- Maintain and enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a memorable guest experience.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Monitor room occupancy levels, availability, and reservations, ensuring maximum revenue generation.
- Handle guest complaints and requests efficiently, maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
- Assist with the preparation of departmental reports, schedules, and performance reviews.
Job
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in a supervisory or management role in Rooms Division or Front Office within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong understanding of front office operations, guest services, and housekeeping standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros, or similar).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
