About the Role

The Working Earth is seeking a highly experienced Section Plant Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our manufacturing facility in Gauteng. With 7–10 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing, you will be responsible for managing high-volume finishing and packaging operations across multiple brands and SKUs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume finishing and packaging operations across multiple brands and SKUs
• Lead factory floor operations to ensure tight cost control and efficient production
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support fast-moving FMCG environment
• Oversee base manufacturing, stamping, and packaging processes

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 7–10 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing
• Proven experience managing high-volume finishing and packaging operations
