About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality analytics, financial models, and insight that supports sustainable, transparent, and profitable product performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the analytics database and SQL models
• Build and enhance financial models for product performance and pricing
• Prepare, analyse, and present product performance insights for management and financial reporting
• Analyse economic factors and risks impacting product pricing
• Conduct claims and performance analysis on financial products
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior analysts
• Prepare budgets and fund-related financial data
• Support audits and external valuators with data preparation and queries
• Contribute to finance and product performance committees
• Maintain documentation and continuously improve analytical processes
• Automate monthly reporting processes with BI support
• Deliver ad hoc analysis to support adjacent teams
Requirements
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in analytics, financial modelling, or product performance analysis
• Proven management or team leadership experience
• Strong SQL/database experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Exposure to Python and/or R for statistical or analytical modelling
• Experience working with financial services, insurance, or financial products (advantageous)
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders
• High attention to detail and strong commercial thinking
