Job Description
This position reports to site manager.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Planning and Coordination: Develop work schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project progress.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Budget Management: Monitor costs, identify potential cost overruns, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Safety Supervision: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople, providing guidance and support.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Matric
Skills
- 10 Years experience as a Wet Works Foreman and a minimum of 3 years experience as a senior.
- Experienced and competent from foundation phase to handing over to finishing team.
- Bulk Building.
- Experienced up to roof and plastering.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- MS Office.
Salary/Package
R360 000 (Negotiable)
