Job Description

This position reports to site manager.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Planning and Coordination: Develop work schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project progress.
• Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Budget Management: Monitor costs, identify potential cost overruns, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Safety Supervision: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople, providing guidance and support.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Skills

• 10 Years experience as a Wet Works Foreman and a minimum of 3 years experience as a senior.
• Experienced and competent from foundation phase to handing over to finishing team.
• Bulk Building.
• Experienced up to roof and plastering.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• MS Office.

Salary/Package

R360 000 (Negotiable)
