Job Summary
- Warranty submission within 5 days as per OEM compliance required
- Evolve job card with all concerns must be documented.
- Fault -cause-remedy indicated
- Pictures of license disc, vin cluster and vehicle to be taken. Pictures of faulty part showing serial numbers, diagnostic print, short video of the problem or sound clip. As many pictures relating to faulty item should be taken for ease of reference for Chery SA.
- Should the issue be serious on items like engine or gearbox a TAR report must be provided.
- Part number and price must be supplied.
- The claim is loaded on IDMS-email warranty to advise there’s a claim for approval
- Once the claim moves to agreed status, it means warranty agrees with our request and waiting on China for approval.
- Once approved by China the status will move to claims approved status
- Proceed now to order the parts and carry out the work
- The warranty process is a time-consuming process which requires a customer to continuously be engaged and updated.
- Parts receiving invoice, evolve invoice and authorization sheet must be uploaded to the IDMS system and mailed to warranty for payment.
- Keep a separate file for warranty claims
- Replaced parts must be tagged and kept in parts department for audit.
- Updated the Warranty tracker weekly
- Once the claim moves to agreed status, it means warranty agrees with our request and waiting on China for approval.
