About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior TTD Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Opensource in Gauteng, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and providing standby support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage system administration using Ansible Automation Platform/Ansible Tower
- Administer and manage license services, including OpenLM, Matlab, and FlexLM
- Provide IT-Operations support, including ticket management and standby support
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes and Dynatrace solutions
- Apply Agile Project Management knowledge and PIC processes to ensure efficient project delivery
- Manage administrative Windows and Linux OS (client/server) systems
- Utilize thorough knowledge of Linux and Linux commands for system administration tasks
- Manage software license installations, updates, and scaling using Ansible Tower or AWX
- Develop scripts in languages such as Terraform, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Requirements
- System management experience in Ansible Automation Platform/Ansible Tower
- Experience in License services, administration, and management (OpenLM, Matlab, FlexLM)
- IT-Operations experience, including ticket management and standby support
- Advanced experience in Kubernetes and Dynatrace
- Agile Project Management knowledge and PIC processes
- Administrative experience with Windows and Linux OS (client/server)
- Thorough knowledge of Linux and Linux commands
- Experience with Ansible Tower or AWX for managing and scaling Ansible automation
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- ITIL certification (advantageous)
- Minimum 6 years IT working experience
- ITIL process knowledge and work experience (Required)
- Minimum 4 Years’ experience in an operations environment
