A leading logistics and supply chain company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with strong experience in warehouse operations, team leadership, and safety compliance to join their team in Germiston, Johannesburg. This role involves overseeing daily inbound and outbound operations within a busy, target-driven warehouse environment, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining stock accuracy, and leading a high-performing team. Responsibilities: Supervise, coach, schedule, and motivate warehouse staff. Conduct daily briefings and provide ongoing performance feedback. Oversee receiving, loading/offloading, bagging, tanker loading, and dispatch processes to meet KPIs and delivery schedules. Enforce health and safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and manage incident reporting. Monitor stock accuracy, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment; coordinate inspections and repairs. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Maintain accurate records, including stock reports, shift logs, and incident reports. Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for management. Requirements: Minimum 5 years warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Proven leadership ability in a busy, target-driven environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and incident management. Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; relevant logistics/operations qualification advantageous. Valid forklift licence preferred; First Aid and Health & Safety training advantageous. Basic computer literacy (MS Office; WMS experience preferred). Ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift within company-specified limits. Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
