George: Electrician

Description: A qualified Electrician is required to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, skilled in fault-finding, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Inspect electrical systems to identify faults, defects, or safety risks Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations Test electrical systems using appropriate testing devices Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members Skills & Competencies: Attention to detail Time management and reliability Good communication skills Safety-conscious mindset Requirements: Grade 12 Qualified Electrician (Trade Test / relevant electrical qualification) (advantageous) Previous experience as an Electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills Valid drivers licence (advantageous) Please note only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
