The Landscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing landscaping projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards. This role involves supervising a team, coordinating work activities, and maintaining quality control on-site while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Project & Site Management Oversee daily landscaping operations and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Supervise and coordinate a team of landscapers, assigning tasks and monitoring progress. Read and interpret landscape plans, designs, and specifications to ensure correct implementation. Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and materials. Conduct quality control checks and maintain high landscaping standards. Team Supervision & Leadership Train and mentor landscaping staff, ensuring proper work techniques and safety protocols. Monitor team performance and address any issues to maintain Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscaping or horticulture, with supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, turf maintenance, and hardscaping techniques. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher preferred). Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and equipment handling. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
