Germiston: Driver – Urgently needed posted by Associated Automotive Distributors (Pty) Ltd

Duties & Responsibilities:1.Conduct inspection of vehicle before departing to delivery/pick up merchandise / parts.2.Load and unload merchandise/parts according to work orders and instructions in a safe and legal manner.3.To deliver or collect merchandise/parts to Branches/Customers/Suppliers as per routes assigned in a safe and timely manner.4.Maintain ongoing communication with Supervisor/Manager.5.Unload goods as per Branch/Customer/Supplier specifications.6.Review deliveries/collections with Branches/Customers/Suppliers to ensure merchandise/parts are correct and meet their needs.7.Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise/parts and communicate with Supervisor/Manager.8.Obtain delivery/pick-up confirmation from each Branch/Customer/Supplier.9.Strictly adhere to the driving laws, road regulations and maintain a safe driving record. Report any accidents, incidents or injuries to Supervisor/Manager immediately.10.Maintain vehicle and perform vehicle inspections such as checking fluid levels and tyre pressure.11.Complete the logbooks for each assignment as per company procedure.12.Provide excellent customer service answering questions and handling complaints from clients.13.Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.14.Perform any other duties as required by Management.
