Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician with mine experience to join our team in Griekwastad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing mining equipment, as well as a valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mining equipment, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, Bell, Hitachi, and Volvo machines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on mining equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating components
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) / N3 Auto Electrician Trade Certificate
- At least 5 years experience working on mining machines
- Valid Code B Drivers License
- No criminal record
- Ability to pass a medical examination
