About the Role
A well-established hospitality property in Hammanskraal, Pretoria / Tshwane is seeking a professional Receptionist to join their front-of-house team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service within a busy lodge or hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs
- Handling bookings, phone calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries
- Maintaining accurate reservation and administrative records
- Processing payments, invoices, and front-office transactions
- Keeping the reception area neat, organised, and professional
- Coordinating with housekeeping, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest service
Requirements
- Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience (advantageous)
- Excellent multi-tasking and organisational abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional presentation and a guest-centric mindset
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
- Friendly, approachable, and confident manner when engaging with guests
